The international Women in French Association, an Allied Organization of the Modern Language Association, exists to promote the study of women writers and women of the French-speaking world. With over 400 members from North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, Africa, Australia and New Zealand as well as the Caribbean, WIF is a diverse and rapidly growing organization with strong global ties to our sister organizations Women in French UK-Ireland and Women in French-Australia.
